Working primarily in solid timber, Ezra’s practice is rooted in an understanding of material, construction and proportion. Furniture is developed through the process of making, with an emphasis on considered joinery, simple forms and the individual character of the material.
With over 15 years of experience in making and fabrication, Ezra began his career with Frances Russell Design, producing furniture, lighting and objects for clients including Porta Romana. He later spent a number of years working within London’s film industry, building sets and interiors - an experience that broadened his knowledge of fabrication across wood, metal and other materials.
Alongside his own furniture, Ezra works with architects and interior designers to develop pieces for residential, hospitality and cultural projects across Europe.
Each piece is designed and made from his workshop in Malmö, Sweden.
